In its continued effort to build capacity and strengthen internal capabilities, PAGEONE Group recently held an Effective Presentation Techniques Workshop through its Center for Excellence—an internal initiative that reflects the agency’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a culture of continuous learning. The session focused on enhancing clarity, presence, and persuasion, equipping team members with practical tools to deliver confident and engaging presentations across various settings.
Employees from PAGEONE Group participated in the training, and several were interviewed to share their reflections on the experience, including Jocelyn Diga, Strategic Communications Director of ReVerb, one of PAGEONE Group’s specialist teams.
“This workshop enabled us to further strengthen our communication skills and helped us to connect better with our audiences,” said Jo Diga. “As communicators, it’s our responsibility to make every presentation meaningful, not just performative.”
For Antoinette Laraze, the workshop brought a shift in mindset. “It taught me to be intentional not just with the content, but with the experience I create for the audience. Presenting isn’t just about transferring knowledge, it’s about creating resonance. We learned how to build that connection by aligning structure, tone, and authenticity.”
Yvonne Dalusong, who earned one of the highest performance ratings during the workshop, shared how the experience became a personal turning point. “I’ve always believed in preparation, but this workshop showed me how preparation and presence must go hand in hand. I learned that authority doesn’t come from perfection—it comes from knowing your purpose, owning your message, and delivering it with clarity and conviction.”
Meanwhile, King Guevarra reflected on the workshop as a challenge to grow beyond comfort zones. “It wasn’t just about improving our speaking skills. It was about stepping into our role as communicators with impact. I realized that the audience doesn’t expect perfection; they expect sincerity. This training gave me the confidence to show up with both competence and humility.”
Beyond technical mastery, the workshop emphasized adaptability, empathy, and purposeful storytelling: key traits in a fast-evolving communications landscape. Participants learned to tailor their delivery for different audiences and platforms, ensuring that their message not only informs but also inspires.
This initiative reflects PAGEONE Group’s deep investment in nurturing confident, credible, and compassionate communicators. Through this training, PAGEONE Group further reinforces its leadership in the field of strategic communications—grounded in excellence, driven by purpose, and committed to growth.
